Nokia E50 Review

Ever since the Nokia E50 came out, I wanted it bad... I followed the Reviews like a hawk and finally I got my own on my birthday this year. This is my main phone and I love it.

RF/Signal Strength- Excellent, Compared to my Moto Pebl this think is ridiculous, getting bars in places where I had no signal before.
Also, It regains a signal faster than most phones, it takes about 10 seconds versus 45 seconds on a Nokia N73.

Battery- Excellent, I usually charge the phone every night, but it has lasted me 2+ days when I forgot to charge it.

Screen- QVGA 262 Thousand colors... Colors are beautiful, For the small size of the device, the screen is plenty big at 2.0 inches.

Media Player- I havent got a chance to use headphones with the phone yet, but the media player interface is clean, and the sound output from the speaker is crisp and clear.

Camera/Video- Camera is a very decent 1.3 megapixel unit.. It gets the job done and produces clear pictures.

Video- Not the Best at 176x144 Resolution, but for fun purposes Its ok
I think it does a decent job as well.

Speakerphone- Excellent loud, picks up voices well, this is a Business Device.

Look and Feel- It feels Great like you have something of quality. The phone is 70% Metal and it feels great. the body doesnt creak at all, and you know you have something of quality.

Keypad- Spacious, and nice satisfying click when you type on it.

All images on this review taken by a Nokia N73, which I am borrowing from my friend Corn :)

Don't Tell corn, But i prefer my Nokia E50 to his N73..... Its just brilliant.

Thanks for reading :)

Welcome to My Blog!

Welcome to my Blog....

I guess I should tell you a little about myself. My name is Mike McDaniel and I reside in Tallahassee, FL. Where you ask? The often overlooked capital city of Florida.

Anyway, my love for mobile devices started a few years back. I can't recall the inspiration but I was determined to learn everything and anything about cell phones. I have to give credit to Howard Forums
This is the place if you are a noob to learn anything and get the inside scoop..

One quick thing I should point out Is that my first phone ever was a Nokia 5165.

Yes the trusty 5165, we all had one it was iconic and the reason why I love Nokia and my first phone so much was that it was a dang good phone. Battery Life was excellent so was Reception and voice Quality/Loudness.

Enough sales pitch for the 5165, anyhow I have used many many devices over the past few years.. I have gone from Nokia to Motorola, Samsung, Sony Ericsson's, and Ive used enough of my friends LG's to draw my own conclusions.

It all comes full circle.. If you want a Phone that is going to get the best reception and call clarity you cant go wrong with a Nokia. That's the beautiful thing, Nokia builds the phones first, then adds in all of the features.. This is how all manufacturers should work, but all too often I have experienced otherwise.

Blogging how I got started- Well I like writing and I have to give credit to a few different sources that inspired me
