Nokia Experience Center

Today I rode the train to the Stonestown Galleria to check out the Nokia Experience Center. I was kind of shocked when I stepped into a glass box.

I thought the "Experience Center" Would be a stand alone store, but yet its a mere island Kiosk Floating in the middle of the upper floor.

Anyhow, to the Phones!

The first phone I wanted to hold was the Nokia 8801.

It was as advertised a "Phone designed for the senses" The metal is cool to the touch and the ball bearing slide action was smooth and crisp.

They had little else I found of interest,

But atleast now I can say I visited.

(Will update later with a longer post)

San Francisco Home to a fragmented T-Mobile Network

Well, I just got here a few days ago, but I have encountered many places in the city where there is no signal on my phone. On the CalTrain today I had no service for about 10-15 miles, even though the track borders many cities.

This is quite upsetting but nothing to be alarmed about...

I guess Im used to my home network.

Oh well.
